It has raised money and awareness through events like its monthly GayBINGO, shown above, and its annual AIDS Walk Philly. At Action Wellness, we are both humbled and honored to continue a part of AIDS Fund’s incredible legacy by taking over the production of GayBINGO, a beloved tradition that has brought joy and laughter to our community while raising vital funds to combat HIV.
Representatives from AIDS Fund announced during its monthly GayBINGO event on Dec. 14 that the organization would cease operations effective Dec. Philadelphia nonprofit Action Wellness will carry on the tradition of AIDS Fund’s beloved GayBINGO and Black-Tie GayBINGO fundraising events. This year’s event holds special significance as AIDS Fund, the aids fund gay bingo creator of GayBINGO!, will be honored for over 35 years of leadership in the fight against HIV/AIDS and for establishing one of Philadelphia’s most iconic fundraising events.
That monthly event persists in under this new leadership team. Community Award, recognizing their extraordinary contributions to the community and their creation of this iconic event.
